Agro Innova is digitalising Agriculture in Africa through its suits of software tools for smallholder farmers. The company has built “AkokoMarket” an online and offline marketplace that connects smallholder farmer to ready and guaranteed markets, and also to inputs like maize using their mobile phones. Additionally, Agro Innova’s farm management software “FBS Innova” assists smallholder farmers with digital tools with features such as farm financials, weather updates, farm size, and cropping calendar amongst others that enable these farmers to adopt the best farming practices, make data driven decisions and become climate adaptive.
