For Start-ups
Our Investment Readiness Programmes
SAIS offers annual Investment Readiness Programmes (IRPs) to support start-ups from Africa and beyond to become investment ready. The IRPs focus on improving key performance aspects of start-ups, like team, deal room or customer acquisition. In addition to this, the IRPs offer curated interactions with business partners and investors from our network and beyond to help start-ups raise additional funds for growth. The IRPs are held largely virtually with some in-person touchpoints.
At present, we offer four support streams:
- Investment Readiness Programme for English-speaking Africa
- Investment Readiness Programme (PPI) for French-speaking Africa
- Investment Readiness Programme for livestock tech start-ups from Africa
- Incubation and Acceleration Programme for start-ups from Sri Lanka (on food waste and plastic waste reduction and circular economy approaches).
So far, SAIS has worked with more than 80 start-ups from over 20 African countries. See below for some of our successes so far.
