A Day of Deep Dialogue: The Ag Safari Summit in Nairobi

The day after SAIStival, our navigators and founders gathered at Shamba Events for the Ag Safari Summit, a full-day conference bringing together African AgTech founders, investors, ecosystem builders, and sector experts for twelve focused discussions on the most pressing challenges and opportunities in African agriculture.

The day opened with a data-driven overview of the African AgTech landscape, presented by Briter, a leading data and intelligence platform tracking innovation and investment across the continent. Their insights set a sharp and informed context for everything that followed.

Across the main stage and two breakout spaces, the programme covered an ambitious range of topics: scaling agri-businesses across borders, rural tech adoption, aquaculture, the African dairy industry, post-harvest losses, soil health innovation, public-private partnerships, farmer cooperative digitization, and cross-border trade logistics. The conversations were grounded, honest, and genuinely collaborative.
