Proteen

Proteen converts organic waste into high-quality organic fertiliser by using the larvae of the black soldier fly. Proteen sources the waste, for example from the coffee or avocado sector, from local markets and agricultural processing companies. In this way, they contribute to the circular economy, reduce waste and improve soil fertility, which benefits smallholder farmers through higher yields and more sustainable cultivation methods
